This Water and Land Expert Team risk analysis based control of agriculture workshop will take place on 19 – 20 September 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The workshop is held as a part of the IMPEL SWETE (Safeguarding the Water Environment throughout Europe) project.

The aim of the workshop is to exchange experiences about how the risk analysis for sampling farms for
cross-compliance control can be performed. In addition we will look into the risk based control of livestock productions regulated by the Industrial Emissions Directive to explore possible common ground and inspiration.

Participants should mainly be inspectors or policy makers working with sampling of farms for cross-compliance control. Each participant is expected to give a presentation of how the risk analysis is performed in their own country or region, the challenges they experience as well as the advantages of the chosen method.

Participation in the meeting is at no-cost for interested stakeholders that wish to share their experience within the group.
