River development planning expert meeting

September 3, 2017

The IMPEL project “River development planning” will hold an expert workshop in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) on 27-28 September 2017. Administrative, legal and scientific experts from 8 European countries will discuss relevant problems and best practices to improve the quality of small and medium rivers and thus implement the EU Water Framework Directive. The workshop will include an excursion to a municipal waste water plant and to sections of the river Nidda near Frankfurt which are in various stages of renaturation.
