Water and Land Remediation Project Manager Marco Falconi attended the AquaConSoil 2023 Conference that is taking place in Prague from 11 to 15 September 2023.
Marco Falconi presented the results of IMPEL Water and Land Remediation Project at the Conference on 13 September 2023 under TOPIC 3: Sustainable remediation, emerging contaminants and prevention towards zero pollution.
IMPEL Water and Land Remediation Project aims to speed up the contaminated sites management, focusing to the remediation phase that is often the bottleneck, with monitoring parameters specific for each remediation technology, that may show clearly the progress of activities towards the target.
The project also has the objective to promote in situ technologies with a clear scheme for their monitoring over time. The project aims to contribute reducing the use of more impacting remediation technologies like Dig&Dump and Pump&Treat.
