IMPEL Trend reversal in groundwater pollution project presented to CIS groundwater experts

The IMPEL Project Trend reversal in groundwater pollution was presented on 19 April by videocall to the 43rd CIS Groundwater Working Group meeting which took place in Uppsala (Sweden).
The project manager, Thomas Ormond, used the opportunity to inform the assembled groundwater experts from the EU member states about the work of IMPEL, and called for additional contributions to the survey that is currently still ongoing on pollution trends and trend reversal. The IMPEL project, which collects best practice examples from the participating countries, is intended to be concluded with a conference in Frankfurt on 4 September and the finalisation of a guidance paper in the autumn of 2023.
